Re: Halloween 2019
I am much better at Transfusion than Blood 2. You had 4 or 5 in a row on me on that one run on bb8 though. you should be able to grab the latest binary from http://icculus.org/twilight/darkplaces/download.html and drop it in your transfusion directory and name it transfusion and it should work just ...

Re: Halloween 2019
You got that backwards.
Anyone up for trying TFn 1.05 beta 2? Seems to still work fine, though I don't have a nice config anymore, I can client host. Showing up in the list right now.

Re: Halloween 2019
Anyone interested in another traditional Bloodbath this Halloween? Since we have Fresh Supply this year I don't think we need a Blood 2 server this year. I have the Steam version of Blood:Fresh Supply and it supports jumping in and out of a network game anytime. My Steam profile is here: https://st...

Re: Theme Update
The blood trickle at the top is just an animated gif tiled horizontally, and the same one that has been used on previous themes.

Theme Update
Applied an update to the forum (and added an extension that may help with spam) and the previous theme (which in itself was rather incomplete) was no longer compatible, and I had to revert to its base. I've simply just set the header this time. This default is at least slightly more readable. If I f...

Forum Upgrade
Had to upgrade the forum software, and our old theme style was not compatible.
You must suffer through using this quickly hacked together theme until I have more time to properly do the real theme.

Re: Searching for Issues for PC Gamer (USA)
I'm not sure Blood was ever featured in any previews, at least none that I remember or have found.
The actual Review for Blood is in PC Gamer July 1997 (Vol. 4 No. 7)
Edit: you'll find various useful things here: http://files.deathmask.net/images/magazines

Re: Source code rights
Hey all. Long time, no see! I was reading this thread , and I was wondering... In lieu of searching the forum, what ended up as the official answer to "where is the Blood source code" and "who owns it"? I remember Jace Hall had "a version" of it but IDK if it was the o...

What wrong code are you copying? I can probably add alternates.N0t_mINe wrote:I know, I keep copying the wrong IMG tags for some reason, then wander into this section of the forum to complain about a lack of image posting abilities. Gettin' all old n' stuff.

Re: Devolver Digital: Blood IP "Crazy 'spensive"
I haven't being watching Jace Hall closely but last I seen, Monolith was working on Gotham City Impostors and some other game. I'm not too certain he's still at Monolith tbh. I rip on F.E.A.R. light-heartedly because of the craze they had with that game while having little or no interest in Blood, ...

Re: Devolver Digital: Blood IP "Crazy 'spensive"
For those not initiated, Devolver Digital hinted that if Shadow Warrior sold well enough, they would consider attempting a Blood remake as well. Clearly that isn't going to happen with Atari's licensing stance, which is likely the same reason Jace Hall's efforts went nowhere. Atari, at this point, e...

Re: Atari's ftp including a folder with patches for Blood
These are the same files Monolith and GT Interactive had up for years (and can be gotten directly from Atari's FTP instead of through a 3rd party at ftp://ftp.atari.com/patches/blood/ ) They are simply patches for released games. For Blood, the patterns are generally this: r#### - Retail from 1.## t...
